The Midwives Association of Saskatchewan is the professional organization which represents registered midwives and the profession of midwifery in Saskatchewan.

Our Purpose

To facilitate the integration of midwives into the health care system
To promote the profession of midwifery in the province of Saskatchewan
To advocate for the ongoing development of midwifery services
To protect the interests of its members
To provide continuing education opportunities for its members
To lobby for midwifery educational programs
To actively participate in the national and international midwifery community
To ensure and promote the midwifery model of care
To collaborate on committees with other professions
To liaise with consumers regarding experiences with midwifery care
