Teegan Odell, RM
Teegan's passion for women's rights and social justice was what drew her to pursue working in woman and child healthcare. She completed her BA in Native Studies from the U of S before beginning midwifery training. In 2006 she completed an 11 month midwifery course in Australia, with practical placements in India and Egypt. This confirmed her passion for midwifery and in 2007 she began the Midwifery Education Program through Ryerson University in Toronto. Through this training she had placements in both Ontario and Saskatchewan, serving a variety of women in their communities. She graduated in the spring of 2011 and is very pleased to be back in Saskatchewan, working as a midwife. |
