Rosalind Lydiate RM (RN/RM-UK )
Ros trained as a nurse at St. Bartholomew's Hospital, London, England and then as a midwife in Norwich. Following training she practiced in hospital for two years in a variety of areas. Followed by two years as a community midwife. Ros moved to Canadain 1997 and worked as a second midwife in a Saskatoon practice until 2000, when she began carring a full load of her own clients. She completed her Canadian Midwifery exams in Alberta in 2008 and was registered with the Saskatchewan College of Midwives. Ros has enjoyed being a part of the grassroots midwifery movement in Saskatchewan and is pleased to be able to serve women now as an employee of the Saskatoon Health Region's funded midwifery project. |
