MAUD ADDAI, BscM, UK
Maud took her basic nursing education and training before proceeding to Midwifery in London , England. She worked in maternity care both as a community and a hospital midwife. Her practice included looking after women prenatally , during labour and delivery and post partum as well as neonatal transitional care. After practising a number of years Maud acquired a diploma certificate as a Midwifery Supervisor. Her duties then in addition to midwifery practice were to supervise and support newly qualified midwives and students. Maud worked in different settings both district and tertiary in the UK. In June of 2009 Maud passed the Canadian National Midwifery Exam and in July of 2009 the Canadian Registered Nurses Exam. In August 2008 she was accepted into the Prior Learning Experience Assessment ( PLEA ) Program in Manitoba and after a year took the Objective Structured Clinical Exams and passed successfully in October 2009. She is currently registered with both the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association and the Saskatchewan College of Midwives and is employed in the Cypress Health Region as a midwife. |
