DEBBIE VEY
All Nations' Healing Hospital in Fort Qu'appelle is affiliated with the Regina Qu'appelle Health Region. Midwife Debbie Vey is the Collaborative Maternity Care Program Coordinator at the Women's Health Center in the ANHH and has admitting privileges at the Regina General Hospital. Debbie completed both her nursing and midwifery education in Southampton, England. She worked in a hospital setting which delivered 6,500 babies a year, rotating through prenatal, clinic, labor and birth and postpartum areas supporting high and low risk women. In 1999 she moved with her family to Dorset, England, where she worked in a smaller unit that provided integrated midwifery care in community and hospital settings. In 2006 with her family she emigrated to Canada. She completed the Manitoba PLEA process in October 2007 and was registered with the Saskatchewan College of Midwives in October 2008. |
